TEAM HENRY TEE

In support of Pray for Henry and the Do Good Mission we made some tees to help raise some money for the family. Henry and his family's story is below.

Henry Thieken, a radiant 5th-grade student at Little Miami, has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. His journey began with what seemed like innocent leg pain, which is often brushed off as growing pains. However, as days passed, his symptoms escalated, leading to a fever, paleness, and an overall sense that something was gravely wrong.

On 1/24/24, Henry's family received the devastating news after a series of medical tests and a bone marrow biopsy. Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a battle that young Henry must now face head-on. His family, including his devoted parents Charlie and Jennifer, and his little brother Danny, are rallying around him with unwavering love and support.
Henry's treatment requires long and difficult hospital stays, which means Henry will not return to school this year. His treatment will involve 5 months of chemotherapy with a week off from each cycle where he will get to return home. The Thieken Family's life has been upended by this diagnosis, with the emotional and financial toll weighing heavily on their shoulders. While Charlie has a flexible job, enabling him to care for Danny, Jennifer is faced with the daunting task of balancing full-time work and caring for Henry during his treatment.

This is where our community can step in to make a difference. As part of Do Good Mission, we have seen firsthand the power of collective kindness and generosity. Together, we can alleviate some of the burdens facing the Thieken Family during this challenging time.
